FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How far in advance should I book? As soon as you know the date, it is a good idea to book us.  We get booked quickly with weddings and other large events.  We ask for a deposit to hold your date, and after that you don't have to worry about our availability.

 

What is the deposit and how can I pay?  We ask for a $100 non-refundable deposit to hold your event date.  This is a portion of your total rate and not an additional charge.  If your date changes, we are happy to apply your deposit to a different date if we are available.  

 

What types of payment do you accept? We accept cash, credit cards, and PayPal.  We do take payments as well.  

 

How many hours are recommended or necessary?  Ideally, we like to be with you for the duration of your event.  We feel this looks the most professional and seamless for you, your venue, and especially to your guests.  If we start packing up before your event is over, guests may feel the party is over and it's time to leave.  If we set up in the middle of your event, it tends to look sloppy and unprofessional.  With that being said, we recommend at least 3 hours for up to 150 guests, 4 hours for up to 200 guests, and 5 hours for over 250 guests.  If you are expecting more than 250 guests, you may be interested in having 2 photo booths.  This will make the lines move quickly and guests not spend your entire event waiting for the photo booth.

 

How much space do I need to have for POP Studios? We have a small footprint.  The booth itself is 18" wide and 5'5" tall.  With the backdrop in place and room for guests to pose, the entire studio takes up about 100 square feet (only 10'x10' square), but we can accommodate for tighter spaces.

 

Can I share my photos on Instagram? Yes.  While the software itself doesn't directly share to Instagram, guests are able to text photos to themselves to share from their smartphones.

 

What kind of backdrops do you have? We have a selection of backdrops to choose from however, we have found that guests enjoy the versatility of the green screen which gives them the flexibility of any background of their choosing.

 

Can POP Studios come to my outdoor event? Yes. We are equipped for both indoor and outdoor events. Depending on the time of day, weather, and light conditions, we have the necessary equipment to maintain professional quality photography.

 

What if there is no internet access at my location? If your location is not equipped with wifi, we can provide a portable Hot-Spot.  If the location is outside of an internet service area, guests can still print photos and input their information to share on social media.  Photos will be uploaded once the studio is connected to internet.
